Q?

What are your labor rates?

A.

That’s a fair question, but you’ll need to contact us for the answer. We promise we won’t make you buy anything (unless you really want to).

Q?

Am I obligated to a long contract if I want to go with a managed service agreement?

A.

Nope. We feel passionate about earning your business every day. If we don’t make you so happy that you wouldn’t even THINK about leaving, then we’re not the IT company for you. Our agreements are monthly, with only a 30-day notice of cancellation requested.

Q?

Do you provide Time and Materials support or do you require a contract?

A.

Oh, so you’re one of those afraid to commit types. Well, you’re in luck: we provide a great variety of IT services tailored to your needs, both immediate and long term. Contract customers receive priority support, but everyone gets the same high-quality level of attention.

Q?

What do I need to do to get started?

A.

By all means, pick up the phone and give us a call at 954-441-6211 or 800-292-3537, option 1. We’ll talk you through the entire painless process. We don’t require any crazy paperwork, or your signature in blood. We conveniently accept credit cards through our secure, encrypted, PCI compliant payment processing system.

Q?

Do you offer short contract terms for your managed services?

A.

We, at OTMGM, don't believe in locking patrons of our services into long-term, multi-year contracts with termination fees. We are so confident in our product and service offerings that we offer month to month contracts. At the end of the day, we want you to be 100% happy with our service. If you wish to go in another direction, we only ask that you provide us with a written 30 day notice.

Q?

Do you provide printer repair service?

A.

Of course!

Q?

I’m having trouble getting my email. Do you provide email services, including work on Exchange Servers?

A.

Yep! We can help resolve your Microsoft Exchange Server issues and, if you’re tired of hosting your own server, we can guide you to some excellent cloud-based, hosted email alternatives.

Q?

I keep getting viruses on my network. Can you stop that?

A.

We use and preach a multi-layered security approach. There are multiple vectors of vulnerability on your network, starting with your users’ browsing habits. We can get you protected from yourselves with a Universal Threat Management network security appliance at the gateway to your Internet. We can also provide a quality end point protection for your workstations and mobile devices, and solid protection against Spam, Phishing, and all sorts of malware distributed via email. Don’t forget user awareness! A savvy user is one of the best defenses you have. We can bring your team up to speed on all the hot safety topics. Help us help you, and impress your doctor with a lower blood pressure.

Q?

What type of data backup services do you provide?

A.

We provide the most ideal data backup services possible: data backups that ensure your data is actually available when you need it.  And by “when you need it,” we mean when you are FREAKING OUT because you’ve lost a large project or accounting file and you need it NOW! The optimal way to ensure your data is secure and available is to back up locally as well as encrypt it and transmit it offsite to a secure, redundant facility. So, we do that. We also maintain a watchful eye to make sure the backups are working as scheduled and that your data is recoverable. Imagine what a load off your mind our service would be for you.

Q?

I think a computer (or workstation) on my network has been compromised. What can you do to help me?

A.

First, you should disconnect any computer or workstation you feel may have been compromised from your network and the Internet, like RIGHT NOW. After this, you can start by running an up-to-date malware detection tool, like Malwarebytes (it’s free!). There are a few other tools we can run to further detect issues and ensure your computer is clean before you restore connectivity, so give us a call as soon as possible. Ain’t nobody got time for a virus.

Q?

Is this email I received for real?

A.

Usually, if you have to ask, probably not. Phishing and spoofing attacks via email are the most common methods used to spread malware. The idea is to “spoof” a sender you might recognize or have some measure of familiarity with. The bad guys make it look like it’s coming from a trusted source, but in reality, the sender’s domain address has been imitated. It could be off by just one letter, or somehow slightly altered. Hyperlinks included in the email that seem harmless (even intriguing) usually point to some completely different URL. You can check by hovering your cursor (WITHOUT CLICKING!!!) over the link. The URL will show up in a little box. If it doesn’t match the expected sender’s website address (domain name), or if it looks sketchy in any way, don’t trust it, and definitely don’t click it.
